Objective
Revamp a service company’s website, specifically Joanie’s Pastries, by redesigning its layout and content.
The focus was on creating a user-friendly interface that prominently showcases their services to boost sales. This involved redesigning the homepage along with five additional pages of the website.
Process
When redesigning Joanie’s Pastries, I aimed to enhance brand consistency by utilizing existing brand colors more prominently throughout the webpage. I also selected typography similar to that used in the logo to maintain a cohesive brand identity.

The original homepage suffered from cluttered navigation and misplaced content, resulting in poor user experience. To address this, I removed unnecessary elements and repositioned the logo to the center, enhancing navigation clarity. Additionally, I prioritized the gluten-free certification, reflecting Joanie’s Pastries’ specialty, and organized bake goods into four main categories for easy access. Each category featured a “Shop Now” button for convenient browsing and purchasing, along with an instant contact area to streamline online orders.

Furthermore, I developed layouts for other main navigation pages, ensuring a clear and organized design on a grid system for effortless browsing.
