Objective
For the emerging local dog treat company, The Good Dog Treat Shoppe, the task was to develop a logo and establish a branding identity. The client sought a clean and straightforward design, emphasizing simplicity. Additionally, the client specified that the logo should only use black and white colors and include a dog illustration alongside the wordmark. This logo is intended for branding purposes and will also appear on the labels of the treats.
Process
To design the logo for The Good Dog Treat Shoppe, I began by meeting with the client to understand their brand. Following this, I conducted research and created thumbnails to brainstorm ideas. These concepts were then presented to the client for direction.

During the rough design stage, the client changed their company name from ‘The Good Dog Treats’ to ‘The Good Dog Treat Shoppe,’ leading to adjustments in layout and style exploration. To address this challenge, I explored various styles and layouts, ensuring to provide the client with multiple options.

Moving to the semi-comp stage, I developed two strong design concepts for the client to consider. Upon finalizing the logo, I created a style guide, documented my hours, generated an invoice, and provided alternate logo options along with all necessary files.
